Welcome to my page!
I’m Anita, and I would like to share some things about me. I live in Killarney, one of the most beautiful towns in Ireland, surrounded by the breath taking Killarney National Park. I was born in Hungary, but in 2005 I decided to spend some time in Ireland, a country thhat slowly became my home. The climate here makes it possible to grow a wide range of plants, and the best part of it that you don’t have to worry about irrigation! I studied mainly in Hungary, where I finished my college degree in Biology and Environmental Science. I got bitten by the botanical bug during these years, and became very interested in plants and their ecology. I continued my studies in Horticulture on a postgraduate course in the Corvinus University in Budapest. Later, in 2014 I gained my Diploma in Garden Design, through The Garden Design Academy of Ireland. I quickly realised that I am not overly interested in the actual growing process, but rather in the aesthetic side of planting, and the way how plant communities are forming, evolving and their role in the circle of life…. My aim is to help people to reconnect with nature. To help you to see beauty in the details, in a raindrop, a petal, a flicker of light… It is indeed possible to create a friendship with a rose.
